VQM: Virginia Quilt Museum, Dayton, VA – Exhibit by our own Kathleen Decker.
Seven of her traditional quilts are displayed, along with her poems. 
It has been extended and will now run through March 28th. She will have a talk ” Meet the Artist” on March 28th, 2:30p.m. at the Museum. 
 
 
Major Shows Near Williamsburg
Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival(MAQF): The largest quilt festival on the East Coast, held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, VA, from February 26 – March 1, 2026. Expect a huge Merchants Mall, exhibitions, competitions, and workshops.
 
Original Sewing and Quilt Expo – Fredericksburg, VA Sept 24-26, 2026
 
Academy of Applique: Located in historic Williamsburg at the Kingsmill Resort, from March 2 – March 7, 2026, this event offers week-long classes for all skill levels in various appliqué techniques.

Welcome!  Meetings are ordinarily, on the first Saturday morning of each month, from 9:30am to Noon.  You are welcome to greet friends & newcomers, peruse door prizes/raffle table items, white elephant, library books, submit your completed Block of the Month, etc….

Membership is open to anyone interested in quilting, whether you know how to quilt or not.  If you don’t know how to quilt & would like to learn how check out our Resources page.  If you are a non-quilter looking to learn how or an experienced quilter looking for a group of like minded people, please feel free to look around our site.  We hope that you will join us at a meeting soon. Please feel free to email any of our officers or volunteers with your questions.
